šŸŽ§ ā€œThis Is Datingā€¦ā€ podcast: Listening to this podcast is a lot like eavesdropping on a first date—because that’s exactly what it is. From the producers of ā€œWhere Should We Begin,ā€ we listen in on four ā€œdatersā€™ā€ first dates as they meet over Zoom, interspersed with conversations. The first two episodes, which came out yesterday, are cringe-worthy, but also fascinating and should appeal to both dating and non-dating people alike. Listen if you loved ā€œDating Around.ā€

šŸ“š Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr: As much as I loved Doerr’s All the Light We Cannot See, I wasn’t exactly clamoring to read a book with such an odd title, and a length I assumed would take me weeks. Flash-forward to me wishing it wouldn’t end. The book is nearly 700 pages long, but skips along—you can easily read 100 pages in an hour since it switches so frequently between timelines and characters: a young girl in a spacecraft hurtling toward the next viable planet and another in 15th century Constantinople, a POW in the Korean War, and a young man with plans to blow up a library.
