🎥 ‘Eddington’ in theaters: Remember 2020? Honestly, I think we’d all rather forget it, but director Ari Aster (of ‘Hereditary’ and ‘Midsommar’) has transformed that terror into a movie that harnesses the strangeness of that time, starring Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone, and Joaquin Phoenix in a contemporary western worth seeing in theaters.

🎧 Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir: From the author of The Martian, Ryland can’t remember his first name—much less who he is—when he wakes up on a table, tended to by robotic arms. As his memory returns, it dawns on him that he was sent into space on a “hail Mary” mission to reverse the sun’s progressive dimming before the Earth enters into a catastrophic ice age. I listened to the audiobook, which a friend insisted was the way to go, and enjoyed the performance—and the fun twist that comes with it! Looking forward to the film adaptation, coming soon!
