🎧 “What Happened to Sandy Beal” Podcast: In 1977, teenager Sandy Beal was found shot to death in her car. It was ruled as a suicide, but her mother always assumed that the police were hiding something. In this podcast, journalist Melissa Jeltsen unravels the cold case through interviews with Sandy’s family and the clues she left behind. I haven’t felt this captivated by a crime podcast since the first season of “Serial.”

This one will appeal to anyone who loved Cloud Cuckoo Land, The Overstory, and Cloud Atlas.
