Sunday Edition: 5 Cute Summer Tops, Protein Pancakes, and My Mental Health Nonnegotiable
Flipping my routine for summer.
The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

At Thursday evening, my friend asked, “How have you been doing?” I immediately laughed, then thought for a moment before responding, “Completely overwhelmed, yet extremely capable.”
Working in community mental health has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career. Though I’m only at my internship for two days a week, I see twelve clients and run a two-hour group from a curriculum I created. This means that from the moment I arrive until I leave, I’m either sitting with a client or in a supervision meeting, for eight hours straight. The work is intense—my clients are mostly experiencing homelessness and in recovery from addiction—and the burnout nearly crushed me early on, but in the past few months I’ve turned a corner. On Wednesday, I had to provide some additional clinical support, supporting a screening and consulting on diagnoses, and I realized how much I’ve learned and grown since I began in January.
Next month, I’m out of town every single weekend. I’m so excited about all of my plans—and to share them with you!—but it also means I’ll need to be all the more intentional about self-care during the week, so I can support myself and my clients. This week struck a perfect balance, with plenty of work, solo time to workout and recharge, and time with friends. There are so many goodies in this issue! Read on for tons of photos, outfits, and highlights from my week, plus:
