The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

Early dinner at one of my favorite spots, Rangoon Bistro

No sooner had I sat down to write this than I casually popped one of Toast’s treats into my mouth instead of one of the cashews directly next to it. Go figure. It’s apt for a week that felt a lot like a pile of cashews with a surprise dog treat—a really solid foundation, with a few unsavory surprises that I did not see coming. I’m sure I’ll write more about them soon, but for now I’ll share that encountered some difficult personal challenges this week. I’m really proud of the way I handled them, taking care of myself and others, in a way I would not have been able to two years ago. A huge part of it was, for me, 1. listening to myself, 2. weighing my needs and balancing them with showing up for others, and 3. showing up for myself.

I know that I’m much more grounded, calm, and happy this morning because I took the time to listen to take care of myself this week. Read on for a few other moments and photos from my week…
