A Note on the L.A. Wildfires and How to Help

Earlier this week, I did something I haven’t done in five (!) years: I headed into an office at 9 am, for the start of my clinical internship, which will span my final two semesters at school. Thankfully, it included quite a bit of onboarding, so I got to ease in with a slow start, meeting my colleagues and adjusting to my new schedule, before I begin seeing clients. At the moment, my schedule is reasonable: Classes on Monday, internship Tuesday through Thursday, with Fridays and weekends “off” (though I’ll use them to focus on Morning Person!). I’m exhausted, but so excited to be back in the swing of school after my year off. I hope the post-holidays transition went smoothly for you. Don’t forget to take care yourself!
