Last Sunday, at the tail-end of a packed weekend, my partner and I began to feel… off. I was eager to rest and get some work done ahead of a week filled with class and clients. Instead, we both got absolutely flattened by norovirus, and spent the night on the bathroom floor (thank the house gods, I have two bathrooms). The worst of it passed within 24 hours, but I pretty much crawled through the rest of the week which, to my immense delight, ended early with a surprise snow day on Thursday.

I’ve spent the weekend easing back into myself, catching up on work (and your wonderful comments!) but also doing some gentle workouts, making myself simple, nourishing meals, and meeting friends for easy hangs—rest assured, we are not sharing drinks or utensils.
