The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

Although I had this week off of school before classes, clinic, and internship begin Tuesday (!), I spent it in deep preparation. The moment I got back from Reno and camping on Monday, I dove headlong into fifteen-hour days to finalize book copyedits (more on that process below), finalize my house sale (I close Friday and move Saturday of this week!), prep for an upcoming clinical internship, and take meetings for Morning Person that will be more difficult to schedule once my fall semester is in full swing. It was a lot and, at times, I felt incredibly isolated from friends taking long weekend trips and classmates who are enjoying some well-deserved unstructured time, but there were plenty of glimmers as well.

On a run with Toast, I realized that Morning Person turned two this week (on August 31st, for those who care to mark their calendars with this momentous event)! I was immediately overwhelmed with gratitude—it felt like an invitation to pause and reflect on what a wild and transformative two years it’s been. I am so, so grateful to be able to write about my life, and all the things that spark my curiosity every week. Thank you for reading! (I’m particularly excited to share Tuesday’s issue with you.)
