Sunday Edition: I Almost Bought a House This Week
And photos I haven't shared anywhere.
Hello! In case you missed it last week, I’m trying something new here. The Sunday Edition is a bit more off-the-cuff; things I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend. This week’s includes myriad life updates, favorite quotes, a book haul, and one embarrassing email subject line from a very chaotic week:
Live the questions. This Rilke quote from Letters to a Young Poet keeps showing up in my life this week.read it at the retreat I helped her facilitate last weekend and shared it in her Substack this week, “Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
