The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

This week was a total false spring as we enjoyed 60-degree weather in Portland (already back to 33 and encased in fog as I type this morning…). I filled my home with flowers, ate my favorite herby pizza and green goddess bowl (recipes below), and enjoyed a rare spell of sunny days, hiking most afternoons, biking, eating lunch outside, and leaving the window open to hear the wind chimes. I know it’s just a tease—it is, after all, early February—but I welcomed the respite…

And today’s the day! I’ll be online at 9 a.m., p.t. today to host a community conversation with the writer about our relationships with rest and why we struggle to prioritize it. Paid readers can register and get the link to join, below! Grab a mug of your favorite morning beverage and join us for a cozy, casual chat. This event has ended, but I’ve uploaded a clip of Jane and my conversation, before we opened up the conversation to the group! Thank you to everyone who came, and shared resources and stories!
