The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

My favorite, go-to smoothie

As I’m writing this on Saturday afternoon (with a pie in the oven!), I’m amazed at how tired I still am from my book tour. Though I’m working on slowing down, my natural pace is at a full sprint, so I expected to be able to jump back into my life at full tilt. I did jump back in—with plans nearly every night, a return to my workout routine, and plenty of work and personal to-dos—but I’m realizing that I feel nearly as wiped-out as I did when I returned to Portland after my weeks of travel last Friday. This upcoming week includes another stacked schedule (my mom comes to town on Tuesday, and we have two overnight trips planned during her brief stay), so there wont’ be much time for rest. In anticipation, I’m using Sunday to fully plop (I’m heading to a friend’s house to watch/talk-through the Zac Efron movie in her A/C), and blocking out two weekends from now for zero plans (!). Read on for my go-to post-workout smoothie, a trick for mocktails, and photos from my week!
