Sunday Edition: With a Little Help from My Friends

The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

Writing Sunday Editions each week has helped me see that each week can be bracketed by a theme: last week’s was softness, the one before was possibility, this week was all about friendship. It isn’t just that I had more plans than usual, but each one felt meaningful and connective in a way that truly filled my cup. There was coffee with a new friend, dinner at a friend’s where she made a galette and I felt comfortable enough to show up in a tattered sweatshirt, a tender moment with classmates, the outpouring of support I felt from all of you at my cover reveal (!), and a scene that felt so uncanny in its cinematic timing that I’m sharing it below as an actual scene…
