Sunday Edition: A "Before" of My Multipurpose Guest Room

Plus my favorite outfit this week.

The Sunday Edition is Tuesday’s little sister—off-the-cuff updates I’d bring up over a coffee catch-up with a friend.

Didn’t expect how much I’d love the return to routine of getting dressed to go into an office, for my internship!

There’s a room of my house I haven’t shared with you yet—mostly because there’s been very little to say about the space where I hang my laundry to dry, store overflow of books and board games, and keep a trundle bed that 100% of my guests have declared to be uncomfortable. But that’s all changing soon! The space is small, but I have big goals to turn it into a real guest room (with a comfortable mattress), office space (my desk miraculously fits in a closet nook), and cozy television den (an upgrade from watching movies on my iPad). I filmed the video above during the holidays, so have made some progress turning a practically untouched room into a space I already use daily. I’ve donated the trundle bed to a daycare, hung the T.V. (my proudest accomplishment of 2024), and got the sleeper sofa delivered. It’s coming together!

I’ll share more soon, but first, I’d love your thoughts on the space—creative design and storage solutions, interior designers you love to follow, credenza options (looking for something between 55” and 64” wide), etc! Let me know!
